The final assessment of medical suitability is the responsibility of the head of degree programme.
We recommend completing a first aid course (16 hours) before the start of the degree programme. We also recommend that you complete a voluntary career-specific internship in order to gain an insight into the profession.
All future students of Radiography must submit confirmation of the vaccinations prescribed by FH JOANNEUM upon enrolment. This is a requirement of various work placement centres so that contact with patients can be maintained. The submission of a complete vaccination record is therefore a prerequisite for admission to the Radiography degree programme.
