What is the admissions process?

The admissions process consists of:

  • a full set of application documents,
  • an an essay for your Master’s thesis,
  • an interview with the admissions committee,
  • an overall assessment of relevant previous qualifications,
  • an assessment of professional experience in the field of social work

The form of the application will also be taken into consideration.

You will be invited to an interview if you meet the admission requirements and have submitted your application in full by the deadline. You will receive an email with detailed information about the online interview in good time before the interview.

An essay for the Master’s thesis

An essay for the Master’s thesis enables you to demonstrate your specialist knowledge and your aptitude for the Master’s degree programme in Social Work.

The admissions process is designed to show whether you are suited to the course and will take place on a fixed date.

The personal interview

All candidates are invited to a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by the admissions committee of the degree programme. It will last around 20 minutes.

Tip

The interview gives you the opportunity to demonstrate both your knowledge in the field and your motivation, suitability and talent for the chosen course of study and a subsequent career in this field. It’s in your hands to convince with your CV, your interest in the course content and your personality.

Assessment of previous qualifications

The form of your application, professional experience and relevant continuing education are taken into account as additional criteria for admission.
