Key subject areas

Management and organisation

Our part-time Master’s degree programme in Sport and Event Management will train you to be a manager capable of shaping and implementing sustainable and economically viable developments in the sports industry and the events sector. The course will provide in-depth knowledge in specific areas of sport and event management as well as solid qualifications in the fields of management and organisational governance.

Specialisations

The specialisation in Sport and Event Management is the ideal preparation for a career in both sectors. You’ll learn to understand the relationship between physical activity and health and to organise sports and other major events. You can also experience and conduct applied research in the Sport Science Laboratory. The course includes research and project management as well as the specific management of individual athletes, sport clubs or events.

Real-world assignments and cooperation

Real-world assignments in the sport and events sector form the basis for the two-semester project which allows you to gather comprehensive experience in project management and collaboration with customers and team members. You will be responsible for personnel and project management with a clear focus on the goal to be achieved.
