You are an international applicant if you are not an Austrian citizen, but
- from an EU country, the EEA or Switzerland, or
- from a third country.
What requirements do I have to meet?
Basically, you will have to meet the same requirements as Austrian students and you have the same chances of being admitted. But there are some special things to note.
What documents do I have to submit?
You need to supply the same documents as Austrian applicants. In addition, you are required to furnish
- proof of sufficient knowledge of German (applies to non-native German speakers only). Language competency must be equivalent to Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and may be provided in the form of
- an Austrian German Diploma (ÖSD),
- a Goethe Certificate,
- a TELC Certificate,
- an ECL Certificate,
- a TestDaF Certificate (German as a Foreign Language) or
- another equivalent school certificate.
