Internship during the degree programme
In order to prepare our students for professional life in the best possible way, they complete a compulsory work placement in the 6th semester of their Bachelor’s degree programme. You apply the knowledge you have learnt in a company of your choice.
The internship should last at least eight weeks in the form of a full-time position. You will work on tasks that correspond to your training and provide an insight into a future career or further development. Through the work placement you will gain valuable experience and insights into the interdisciplinary and usually international working world.
The Environmental Management degree programme has an excellent network of partner companies. Our business partners include companies such as Saubermacher, voestalpine, Energie Steiermark, Verbund, Holding Graz, Magna, Planum Fallast, Verkehrplus etc. When deciding on the company in which our students want to complete their internship, they can choose between different companies and sectors: The range extends from small and medium-sized enterprises to large international corporations in the private and public sectors (e.g. municipal administration, federal ministries, etc.).
